The Australian restaurants, cafes and bars donating profits to bushfires

Blue Mountains bushfire.

Where to eat and drink to put your money where it’s most needed during Australia’s bushfire crisis.

Fire has been tearing across our nation all summer long and the numbers behind what we’ve lost are staggering. Over 1,500 homes have been destroyed, 500 million animals killed and thousands of people displaced.

In a heartwarming response, a wave of donations in support has flooded in. Sports celebrities such as Nick Kryios and Ash Barty are donating funds and auctioning off memorabilia while local retailers are sending their profits toward the bushfire appeal.

But how can you help? On top of a straight-out donation, where you choose to eat can make a world of difference. These venues have picked up the plea, pledging to donate anything from $1 to their entire meal profits toward aiding those impacted by the bushfires.
