If someone has got some spare time on there hands and a partner to help them this boy will be a ideal family member. A very loving beautiful boy that is fabulous in the house. Please take this boy home because you will not be disappointed. Every time I see that poor boy he breaks my heart.

Trebles has got such a worried little face, but he is a beautiful boy and very affectionate. He enjoys his walks and is very good on the lead. In the right home he will make a super companion. Xxxxx

Awww Trebles. Such a pity. Maybe you need to be with another hound and someone who doesn’t work or works from home. If we had space and didnt have our hands full with Skip and Sam we’d certainly give you a chance with us. Good luck in finding your forever home. It’s out there soon. x

Trebles, I will sell my children and we can stay at home together all day under a blanket, watching television and eating cheese.

We are heartbroken to have taken Trebles back to the kennels today. Unfortunately it just didn’t work out. We feel he would be more suited in a house with no stairs and people that don’t really go out often and have a lot of time to be able to help him with his separation anxiety. We are gutted as we loved him and he was a great lad. I’m sure the right home is out there for him. Hugs for you beautiful lad! Xx

I’ve absolutely loved reading this story and how you and Trebles seem to have rescued eachother! It all seemed to happen at the right time. Archie is such a good name for him.

We have started calling him Archie short for Archibald because of his bottom being bald because he never answers to trebles and we are not stuck on the name. We also don’t think he will be going anywhere else soon. Very please with him. A true champion in our eyes.

Day 3: we went to Sheldon Country Park today and had a lovely walk. He is great on the lead and no pulling at all. We saw a few dogs and was good with them. Little dogs he is interested in but still doesn’t pull just staring. As we were leaving the park two little dogs came up to him which were off lead. They were very intimidating and wouldn’t leave him alone however Trebles stayed very calm during this but when it got too much he did a little bark to get away but nothing aggressive. We are proud of him for coping so well! When we got to the car he waited patiently while we wiped his feet. Very good boy! Can I just say he travels amazingly in the car and we don’t hear a sound off him just lies there until he realises we have got out of the car. Loves his food and was trying to pinch my chocolate buttons and foster mommy’s crisps. He races upstairs if you have food! Slept through night again great. We watched back the tape from when we left him for bit which wasn’t long. There is definitely signs of separation anxiety but we are not giving up and will definitely be working with him through this. It will just take time! He is a lovely boy! Xxx

Day 2 with Trebles: He has been a delight so far and we love him to bits. He slept through the night perfectly when Deborah went to bed. He has got use to the stairs now as he came down for breakfast and let himself back up again. He is most definitely coming out of his shell a bit and gaining more confidence. He decided to pinch a snowman off the tree and run into the room with a butchers tin from the kitchen! We left him for 10 minutes to see how he would get on. There are a few issues but we should be able to fix them overtime. He is fantastic in the house and let’s you know when he wants the toilet. He does like to follow us around a lot that’s for sure. He is a fuss pot. We took a trip to Pet At Home today and he came along. He had a great time… well when he found out there bunny rabbits. Was great with children and other dogs. He did pay attention to a small pug but nothing bad, just staring really. We took him around see if he would like anything but all he was really interested in was the rabbits! HeHe. Anyway we decided to buy him a ball. He seems to love it when we got home. The only problem is there is a forever squeak in the house… oops we might have to hide that at night! Xx

A report from Trebles himself: Today was very weird. Hoomans took me to a place. They said it’s called a pet shop. It was greytz but I didn’t pay attention to anything. There were some greyt fluffy things with long ears there and I was very interested in them to focus on anything else. This new ball is amazing I’m making as much noise as possible with it. Itz greyt fun! Trebles Xx

The perfect gentleman he knows the word no. Was a little restless when I took him to bed but settled when Deborah came to bed. Could not ask for anything more from the boy. Very pleased so far.

Yes we did end up coming home with a foster boy, Trebles! So far he has been the perfect house guest. He has settled well but does keep getting up out of bed if we leave the room. It’s all new for him and he seems a little nervous and confused about things which is understandable. He ate his dinner perfectly and played with his KONG Ball for a good while. He likes to have a good rest in his bed or on the floor and comes for fuss. We are struggling to get him to pee in the garden but I’m sure overtime he will get use to things. Overall his a lovely gentle boy and we love him. We will see how the night goes and we will go from there. Must be so confusing for him! We haven’t tried to let him upstairs yet but his got the option to. Doesn’t seem keen on them but probably overtime he will be racing up them. He seems happy enough which is good. As of yet no accidents in the house and his great on his walks. Seems great so far! Xxx

Poor boy we had made our mind up who to have on our sofa after many discussions. Then all of a sudden you turn up and we all feel sorry for you and the discussions go on again. We will end up with 3 dogs in our house because we all want a different one.

Very sadly Trebles has been returned today. He has found it hard to settle in his new home and his owner feels he would perhaps be happier as on only dog. She says he does like to have you all to himself. He does enjoy going for walks and is ok with other breeds of dog. She is heartbroken to have had to return him. Xxx

Took Trebles for a walk yesterday. He’s interested in the world around him, easy to walk on a lead. Loves hugs and being stroked and whoever has reserved him is very lucky.

Really pleased for you but sad I will not be able to foster you for Christmas……need a placid easy going boy or girl to get along with my 3 but still a few weeks to go yet to see who is the best fit.

Oh my goodness! I am in love with Trebles….Xx He is a great lad. He is quite reserved at the moment but greets you with a waggy tail. He met Sara’s Border Collie, Louis this morning and was great with him. This afternoon when there was so much going on with lots of visitors, he was content to snooze in his kennel laying on his back with legs in the air! :)) It’s a good thing I have a full house! :)) Xxx
