Nurses Unlimited, a personal care services, home health and private duty nursing company was acquired by Texas Home Health, an AccentCare, Inc. company on Dec. 29.

“Joining Texas Home Health and its AccentCare parent, is a great opportunity for Nurses Unlimited’s growth,” said Bobby Laughry, retiring CEO of Nurses Unlimited, in a news release. “I am excited for our company and its employees.”

Nurses Unlimited serves more than 3,600 patients and clients. It will maintain its brand name, as well as its local offices’ leadership and will continue to serve its patients and clients with the same level of service and quality that it has always brought to West Texas, the release states.

Founded in 1983, Nurses Unlimited offers attendant care and pediatric nursing, as well as home healthcare, which is Medicare-certified and accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).

AccentCare, Inc. is a nationwide leader in post-acute healthcare, as well as specialized care management prior to acute episodes. Services range from personal, non-medical care to skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospice and care management. It is headquartered in Dallas and has 20,000 professionals in over 150 locations across 11 states, the release states.
