Intermittent fasting is the key to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s body


There’s no doubt Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is one of the world’s most successful models. But along with maintaining her iconic slim figure comes a strict eating regimen.

In an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine, the 32-year-old revealed she swears by intermittent fasting, whereby she eats all her food in an eight to 10-hour window.

The supermodel explained she starts her day with “a matcha tea with oat milk at 8am” then she’ll “try to finish eating between 4pm and 6pm”.

“It gives my body a chance to digest everything,” she added.

However, the mother-of-one notes she doesn’t let her fasting routine control her life.

“Of course, if I’m going out for dinner, I shift it to later. I’m flexible. You’ve got to live.”

The supermodel also tries to incorporate lots of lean protein and fresh vegetables into her diet, avoids eating red meat, and admits to cutting out carbs and limiting her salt and sugar intake in the lead up to a lingerie shoot.

She then pairs her clean diet with a strict fitness routine, involving yoga, Pilates or a Body by Simone dance class, according to another interview with BAZAAR UK.

“I have to really work on my stomach. I’ve found Pilates great because it’s slow and controlled and you really have to think about the muscles you’re working.”

Huntington-Whiteley isn’t the only celebrity who’s a fan of fasting with names such as Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth also being huge advocates.
